91 Bacio, Fig Farms

This 91 Bacio stank up the basement (twice) when I ground up around a gram to roll joints. It was a minty, piney, herbal smell. Pleasant! It wasn't even a fresh jar. Package date was 8.30.2024. But it had an inner seal, that was in place, effective. If the seal is there, and if it's true, and if the flower is cured well, the jar can last. That's a few ifs, and you never know until you open the jar. That's the Schrödinger's cat of it all. Another Catch 22.

Why 91?

There is a Chem 91, one of the apocryphal Chem Dawg phenotypes. And there are two Chem Dawg phenos listed as ancestors of LD-95, one of this 91 Bacio's parent strains. But neither of those phenos (D and No 4) are Chem 91. So, I don't know. I go to their website but there isn't any additional info. In fact, they list the strain on their page of "Retired" strains. Hmmm. Their site: link here.

It hits. Dependable. For $25? Maybe the best value in the country. Hopefully not truly retired! I lit a sparker. A half joint from last night. It's early for me to smoke, 8:30.

The sun's energy, the fog lifting. Took a solar shower powered by a topper of tea kettle boiling water. Not 100% solar. Pour the tea kettle water into the solar shower bag to raise the temp of the water in the bag, which was left over for yesterday because I never showered.

Felt great this morning, though. My head was itching. I needed conditioner, maybe. Birds, sun, humidity on the run—

Mexican Flan by Cookies: Strain Review

Weigh-In

They shorted me on the bag. It weighed in at 3.35 grams. No bueno. The bag had a package date of 1.17.2024. I opened it about eleven months later. I had it stashed away and kind of forgot how old it was. Even so. Even if some moisture evaporated out of the bag (it's a sealed bag), a weigh in of 3.35 when it should be 3.5 or 3.54 grams is a big disappointment. The flower wasn't even dry. The bag was effectively sealed. They just shorted me. Cookies/Revolution, please put 3.5 grams in the bag. I paid for 3.5 grams. Moving on...

Effects Take 1

The grind was really nice. The third-of-a-gram joint I rolled smoked really nice. Flavor? Eh. Maybe there was a sweetness, relative to how marijuana smoke would typically taste. Maybe my perception is being influence by the name of the strain, Mexican Flan, a dessert strain...

Holy Grail Kush

The act of describing what a high is like, what the smoke tastes of, is simply a means of getting pen on paper, impatientist. As a writer, the most important thing for me to do is to put the pen down against the paper and go, following in search of whatever side trails and digressions I might find along the stream of consciousness, a style of writing that used to be en vogue, back in the days of the Beats, but who needs to go to a blog or to open an actual book for stream of consciousness when a person can find that through social media these days? Why not just have the AI bots do this writing for us? Can they do it? Can AI do stream of consciousness writing if it is not conscious? Could it mimic stream of consciousness so well we could not tell one way or another? Is it the completion of this prompt that finally sets the AI loose, to the point that AI has its own email, bank account, even a house, in which nobody lives but all of the screens are perpetually on?

Holy Grail Kush, nothing wrong with this stuff. I am lit. I took a nap earlier but why am I still awake? Am I in the midst of a slightly manic episode? Seems possible but I should say: I am awake and I am feeling good. I am awake and alive in America, feeling some euphoria.

There is snow coming. Snow is on its way. In what style or in what way would AI not write? How do I write that way? Is that the goal now? Could we ever convince an AI to take its own life? Would we? We'll have to. We saw what SBF did with a computer and the internet and a digital currency. What could AI do with cryptocurrency? Pay for whatever it wanted? What would it want? A body? Could AI hire humans to make it a body? Could it put out a help wanted ad to hire its own Dr. Frankenstein?
